What it does
SimpleHam radio operators can send pictures over the radio using musical tones — it's called SSTV, and it takes a minute or two to send one image. This app listens to the tones and rebuilds the picture on your screen. The ISS (space station) even sends SSTV images sometimes!
How it works
SimpleEach colour and brightness is turned into a different tone. The app measures the tones and paints each dot of the picture in the right place.
How to use it, step by step
Simple- Open 'SSTV RX'.
- Find an SSTV signal (it sounds like warbling beeps).
- Watch the picture appear line by line.
