App Manager
Manage external apps
#utility#apps#ppmp#extensions
What it does
SimpleThe device can hold extra mini-apps beyond the ones built into the firmware. This manager lets you turn those extras on or off, or add new ones people have shared, without having to reinstall the whole firmware.
It keeps the main menu tidy — you enable just the tools you actually want to use.
How it works
SimpleExtra apps live as separate files on the memory card. The App Manager reads those files and lets you switch each one on or off, so the device can gain new abilities just by adding a file — no big reinstall needed.
How to use it, step by step
Simple- Open 'App Manager'.
- See the list of extra apps.
- Turn the ones you want on or off.
- Find your enabled apps in the menu.
Examples
Add a community tool
Enable an external app someone shared, without reflashing firmware.
Trim the menu
Disable apps you never use to keep the launcher uncluttered.
Try something experimental
Load a new module to test a feature before it's part of the core firmware.
Tips & things to try
- External apps mean new features without a risky full reflash.
- Disable what you don't use to keep the menu fast and tidy.
- Modules live on the SD card, so managing them is just file management under the hood.
