FLEX Receiver
Decode FLEX pager messages
#receive#pager#flex#decode
What it does
SimpleFLEX is another pager language, newer and faster than POCSAG, used by some paging networks. This app reads FLEX messages out of the air, just like the POCSAG app does for the older protocol.
How it works
SimpleLike POCSAG, it flips between tones to send 1s and 0s, but cleverer and faster, so more messages fit. The app locks onto the pattern and reads the text.
How to use it, step by step
Simple- Open 'FLEX RX'.
- Tune to a FLEX paging frequency.
- Read the decoded messages.
Examples
FLEX vs POCSAG
Compare how FLEX packs more messages per second than POCSAG.
Protocol study

Tips & things to try
- As with any paging, respect local privacy law — treat it as protocol learning.
- FLEX and POCSAG can share bands; try both decoders on a paging channel.
